The university campus of Lugano has been built around an early twentieth century building originally housing a hospital. Nowadays, this building hosts the main services of the university, professors’ offices, classrooms, informatics labs, the canteen and open spaces for students.
The campus is composed of seven other buildings, which host the library, the aula magna (conference hall), professors’ offices, classrooms, work places for final-year and graduate students, and the research labs.
