Campus
Mendrisio
Welcome
The university campus of Mendrisio is located in the heart of the small city of Mendrisio, and has grown out of two main existing buildings: Villa Argentina, a neo-classical villa surrounded by a century-old park, hosting the main services of the academy and professors’ offices; and Palazzo Turconi, formerly the town hospital, housing ateliers for freshmen and last year students.
Next to these two buildings, three more have been erected: the Library, designed by Mario Botta, the Fondazione Archivio del Moderno, and the Palazzo Canavée, hosting classrooms, open spaces, ateliers, conference halls, professors’ offices and a friendly canteen.
