The Faculty of Communication Sciences is the only faculty in Switzerland to offer interdisciplinary learning that combines humanistic, social, economic and technological studies. In line with the Convention of Bologna, the Faculty’s study plan has three distinct levels: Bachelor (a three-year foundation course), Master (a two-year specialization course) and, for students who want to continue their studies, a three-year PhD. A variety of Executive Masters are also offered for professionals. Halfway through the Bachelor’s curriculum, students choose a pre- specialisation; these special fields include mass communication and new media, corporate communication, communication technologies, education and training, and public communication.
