It is relatively easy to find accommodation in Lugano, because the real estate market is quite active. On campus the "Mensa" student restaurant provides meals, snacks and beverages at affordable prices. Around campus there are several restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and public canteens. Some of these may apply preferential rates to students.
Prospective students may apply for a room in the Academy’s Student's House. It is situated in Mendrisio, Via Agostino Maspoli, in a quiet area not far away from the centre of the city and within a minutes’ walk from the Academy. The Student’s House has 18 apartments, each composed of four rooms, with a large kitchen and a living room. The monthly rental fee is of SFr. 350 + SFr. 120 for accessory expenses.
