Welcome
The University of Lugano - Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) is the only Italian-speaking university outside Italy and, with nine other Swiss universities and two Federal Institutes of Technology, is part of the Swiss higher education system. USI has four Faculties (Economics, Communication Sciences, Informatics at Lugano and Architecture at Mendrisio); 2,200 students and 350 professors and assistants from 30 different countries around the world study and work on the two campuses.
